      I bought a VR ready pc with only one hdmi slot and no DVI. although it claimed to come with one. so I needed to buy this cable to connect my nvidia graphics card to my monitor. then I can use my hdmi on my graphics card for my oculus..Tldr: works perfectly

      These days I’m running into PCs that only have DP connections while many decent monitors do not. This adapter/cable gives me a one-part solution to that problem. It is much cleaner than using a dongle to convert along with a separate HDMI cable. and for bonus it costs less that many two-part solutions. I have used this item several times. and will definitely use it again if/when the need arises.

      Honestly. I didn’t even know Display Port cables were a thing before talking to a tech savvy friend about it. I bought a new computer and came to the realization that it only had 1 HDMI port. and every hdmi splitter I found was either super expensive or installed weird software on your machine for it to only possibly work. Save yourself the trouble and get this if you have a DP port in your desktop. It worked immediately after plugging it into my monitor. Great find!
