This cable works perfectly for the Oculus Rift S. I needed an extension. I was afraid the Oculus might be sensitive to signal loss and not like just any extension cable. But this one works perfectly.I started worrying about wearing out the contacts on the primary headset cable by frequent plugging and unplugging. So I bought this cable and a USB3 male/female adapter that”s only about 1.5 long. I put the USB3 adapter on the Oculus cable and planned to let the adapter take the wear and tear of plugging and unplugging. But the USB3 adapter breaks the signal and won”t connect. So for now I am in fact plugging and unplugging in the primary contacts. My point by explaining this is the Oculus does appear to be sensitive to signal loss. But this cable works perfectly.

Works with The Oculus Rift S! (Which was the main reason why I got this)However when connected to my second monitor it sometimes has this green glitchy affect to certain colours but disconnecting and reconnect the cable fixes it (until restarting the PC)

As above I purchased this to save me constantly having to crawl behind the PC to plug in the 2 cables that run the Oculus Rift S VR headset.These enable me to have both the USB 3.0 and DP extension plugged into the PC at all times and we then just need to attach the headset to the end of the extensions.They have caused no issue with the functionality of the headset and has the bonus of giving more freedom of movement while playing in the VR.Top buy!
