      I prefer the lighter simpler cases. Easy to snap on and off. However. I thought the back would be a softer silicone. The back is hard plastic. My previous case also had a hard plastic back. which broke on the corner after it was dropped. thus needing replacement. The hard plastic also seems to slide around too easily when on my nightstand. I put self -adhesive felt on the back. rather than return.

      I just got my first ipad. I didn’t want to drop it and find that a cover is necessary. This one fit just right. It is attractive and bright red–my favorite color for my electronics. The only downside is a lack of a place to put my stylus. But my husband had an elastic band that holds a stylus and keeps the cover closed. He gave it to me. Overall. this cover is great. Easy to put on and sturdy.
