      My old Casio finally died after decades of use. My main objective was to NOT get one with a button battery because to replace the button battery you will be destroying the calculator as it is glued closed..I don’t use button batteries and buying 12 to get one didn’t make much sense..This calculator uses an AA battery easily accessible to replace from the back..I wanted a calculator that allowed for place values since I use the addition function most of the time and didn’t want to constantly press the decimal button. Slide the setting to “add” and it’s all done for me. If you do addition a lot. you will love this function. It’ll make work a lot more pleasant and fast!.I was pleased and surprised the numbers are dark and large. thank goodness.
