   Very nice calculator. especially given the low price. but there are some issues. The documentation does not describe how a few of the non-obvious features work (for GT. MU. %) and I had to search on the web for other brands of calculators in order to get that information. After having done that. those features are useful. especially the grand total (GT). As the product listing states. it will not work without a battery. even though it has a solar cell. One has to wonder therefore what the purpose of the solar cell is. other than to confuse people.

   This calculator is a perfect size to fit well on any desk. Large buttons and view window so it’s easy to see. Love it! Also works well if you place it near a window or lamp. No need for batteries.

   I have a scientific calculator. but was looking for a basic calculator that has an easy to use keyboard and an ease to read display to do things like balance the checkbook. calculate totals for tax categories prior to start completing my tax software details. etc. This one fills the bill.
