Well. my little desk top calculator that I’ve had for years wore out. It had solar features. but also a battery. and since I kept it in a desk drawer most of the time. the battery wore out eventually. and keeping it in the sun didn’t work out that well since they worked together. That wouldn’t have been a problem if it had a battery compartment. but this one you had to take the WHOLE back off and dig the round battery out. It was a pain. not worth it. and I looked around and found this little gem. the price was more than reasonable. but the best thing is it has solar power AND a separate battery compartment you can access easily on back! It also has an off AND on switch which the other one didn’t have. The numbers are big. the buttons are big. but it’s not a huge calculator. It’s the perfect size. I am really happy with my purchase! Forgot to add. it sits up so you can easily see what you’re working on!

This was on sale when I ordered it and the price was very agreeable. The appearance is better than what the pic looks like. the action is speedy and I like that there was little I had to do to adapt to its use as it is rather intuitive (the keyboard layout). Great item!
